Cape Refuge Written by
Terri Blackstock
The brutal murder of Thelma and
Wayne Owens has left the town of
Cape Refuge reeling
in shock. Why would anyone want
to harm the two most loving and
giving people on the island?
Hanover House, the halfway house
the Owens ran is filled with
possible suspects, and the townspeople
are living in fear for their
lives.
Terri Blackstock weaves an
intricate web of tension with
suspicious characters and a suspenseful
plot. As an avid reader, I
usually have the story figured
out way before the end, but not
this one. The character of Blair
Owens is especially realistic as
she deals with her anger and she
struggles to understand how the
loving God her parents
faithfully served would allow
their murder. Cape Refuge is a
riveting suspense
that is sure to keep you on the
edge of your seat.
