Clingan
Ridge is blessed with one of the outstanding Church Media Libraries (CML)
in the area. Located directly adjacent to the sanctuary, the CML
provides our congregation with a variety of books, videos, and CD's for
all ages. With over 3,000 books, 300 videos, and 50 CD's there is
something to be enjoyed by everyone. The latest Bible study
resources, Christian enrichment, Christian fiction, and a wonderful
collection of children's books are waiting to be checked out - at no
charge, of course. Come by the Church Media Library and the staff
will gladly help you find just the right choice for you!

Ladies Ministry
Ladies Ministry Director,
would like to invite all ladies to join
the Ladies Ministry Family of Clingan
Ridge; it matters not how old or young
you are, or even if you are a member of
Clingan Ridge or not. Our Ladies
Ministry is about Laughter, Fun and
Support, but most of all we are about,
Worshipping and Praising our God(Psalm
47:1,2 NIV), learning and studying His
word, because Ladies, we are Princesses
and children of the King! We have
Monthly meetings to Learn about one
another, to Fellowship with one another,
Support one another, and to Pray for and
with one another. In addition to our
monthly meetings, we have a couples
Valentine Banquet every year, A Secret
Sisters Club, Christmas Banquet,
shopping trips and of course our big,
life-changing annual Ladies Retreat
every fall. (Psalm 46:10, "Be still and
know that I am God"). Please come and be
apart of our family!

Men's Ministry
Each month the men meet for a time of fellowship
and devotion. As an extension to this group,
there is also a men's cell group which meets
weekly in smaller groups. This allows men to
have a core group of fellow accountability
partners for their Christian walk with the
Lord in their home, at work, and at church.
There are also opportunities fro men to
attend various conferences such as Promise
Keepers.

 Nursery
Nursery is offered
during Sunday School and the Worship
services each Sunday morning and Sunday
night. During Sunday School, the nursery is
designed to be a babies' Sunday School
class. In the worship hour, we offer two age
groups of nursery care: infants (birth to
two years old) and toddlers (two to four
years old). A digital paging system is
provided for your convenience and peace of
mind. Your number will be displayed on the
monitors located in the sanctuary.

Puppets
The puppet team have been blessed with witnessing over
2,000 souls make a personal commitment to
our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The
puppets often present youth oriented
programs at area churches, as well as at Clingan Ridge.

 Signers
This signers team
presents sign language for song lyrics as
part of puppet and signer programs. The signers often
participate in youth oriented programs at
area churches, as well as at Clingan Ridge.

Singing / Music
Clingan Ridge offers many opportunities to
enjoy and/or participate, if you enjoy good
Christian singing and music. Clingan Ridge
offers an open choir that we invite all to
worship with us in. You may also hear a
special song by some of our talented members
during our services. There are special adult
groups such as the Praise Team that will
surely bless you. There are opportunities in
Southern Gospel, Contemporary, as well as
conventional gospel music. Of interest to
the younger folks, opportunities include a
Children's Choir and Student Praise group. Of course there is also the occasional
opportunity to praise the Lord with a
popular professional group in concert at the
church.

Sunday School
Sunday School is an exciting time at Clingan
Ridge. Sunday School begins each Sunday
morning at 10:00a.m. Check out some of the
classes that are offered:

Visitation
Clingan Ridge has an exciting visitation
program. We have visitation scheduled the
first Saturday of every month. We meet at
the church at 10:00 am.

our teams to visit you,

Watch Patrol
For your convenience and safety, several of
our members volunteer during each service to
patrol the grounds and parking lots. |

XYZ's
XYZ's (Xtra Years of Zest) is a fellowship
group for all senior adults. There is a
business meeting the first Wednesday of each
month at 11:30am, followed by a lunch
together. Every fourth Thursday the XYZ's
meet at a member's home for a covered dish
lunch and afternoon of games and fellowship.
XYZ's also participate in various fellowship
activities, such as going to plays, shopping
trips, and an annual Senior Adult
Conference. They also minister to senior
adult shut-ins through phone calls, cards
and visits. Every Wednesday from 9:00am to
noon there is a quilting group that meets in
the church annex building and makes quilts.
All ladies are welcome to participate. |
