Welcome to Clingan Ridge Baptist Kidz Church!!
Kidz Church is a part of the many programs of Children's Ministies available at Clingan Ridge Baptist Church in beautiful Cleveland, Tennessee. Kidz Church serves children between age 3 years old up through the 5th grade. If your child does not fit within this age group, we have programs for children of all ages, so please refer to our church web site for more information, or contact us and we would be happy to help find a program that is perfect for your whole family.
What Kidz Church is…
A ministry focused on presenting Christ-centered, biblical teaching and worship to the age groups of 3 years thru 5th grade.
What Kidz Church is NOT…
A playground. We welcome children between the ages of 3 years thru 5th grade to attend classes and worship services with us where we all can grow in the knowledge of Christ, worship in spirit and truth, and enjoy fellowship together all while respecting God’s house.
What Kidz Church is…
About reaching kids with the gospel of Christ.
What Kidz Church is NOT…
About pressuring children to some type of decision prematurely. Thru biblical teaching and worship, we hope to plant the seeds but let God give the increase. Each child learns and matures at his or her own rate, so we have no preconceived notions of when each child should accept Christ.
What Kidz Church is…
A place of learning scripture.
What Kidz Church is NOT…
A place of indoctrination. Children are not exposed to opinion, but the holy and inerrant word of God. We are more concerned with children growing up to imitate Christ than us.
Jesus told his disciples to “suffer little children”, meaning “allow them” or “lead them” to come to me. In this brief statement we are told who is involved – little children and Jesus. In Kidz Church, we encourage children to approach Christ in worship, prayer, and learning. We are not to lead them to ourselves, our opinions, or our goals. Rather we are to lead them to the One who matters -Christ. We are also commanded to “allow them”, not to coerce or force them to Christ. Our mission is to plant and water the seed, but allow God to give the increase.
At Kidz Church, we believe every child is special, and the best way we know to show just how special they are is by teaching every child about our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We strive to present the gospel in a way that your child can understand and relate to. Through music, games, special activities, and stories every child will hear and learn from the biblical scriptures of our Heavenly Father and our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Kidz church is operated by a staff of member volunteers who have a special love and appreciation of children.

Located at 2412 Georgetown Road, Cleveland, TN 37311 in our newly completed Creation Station building, Kidz church service is presented on Sunday morning's during regular church service hours...please refer to our calendar of events for our operating schedule and a list of special planned events. You do not need to be a member for your child to participate. We simply ask that you provide contact information using our registration form so that we may contact you in case of emergency or special need.
